A blueprint for creative success?

Wow, it’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks in my world! Last week my co-writer and I launched a new book in the humorous science fiction space, which required a lot of time and attention both before and after the launch. 

Also, a little over two weeks ago, I tripled-down on my commitment to my coaching business. I’m taking the plunge and working with a business coach to help keep me motivated and accountable to continue refining my offerings, aligning my gifts and mission with forward-looking actions that allow my clients and me to truly thrive. 

But, enough about me. 🙂

Grounded, Capable, Fearless, Irresistibly Magnetic

This morning, I was exploring with a professional actor what it might mean to level up and have an authentic brand.

You see, she’s on a creative journey informed by her heart’s desire, with a commitment to mastery of craft, while at the same time invested in becoming a better human being. And now she’s coming to understand that these aspects of herself can be linked together for powerful results.  

Her struggle right now? Getting consistent work on the types of projects bring her financial security and a sense of accomplishment.

I shared with her about my role models in the music business, people I was able to learn from, who were so joyful and authentic and talented as to be irresistibly magnetic people. Everybody wanted to work with them. As a result, they have it all—financial success, rewards, recognition, and a sense of contentment informed by deep fulfillment and meaningful connected work. 

Want to know what I know to be true about her? If she keeps doing the inner work, but pairs that with finding role models who are succeeding by exemplifying how she wants to show up, she can develop her own unique template for taking her career to the next level (and beyond). 

Here’s where we landed for her template:

If you if do the inner work to BE grounded, capable, and fearlessly vulnerable,

And pair that with intentional, informed action, such as: Putting yourself in position to build and maintain heartfelt relationships with working professionals,

Then, you will have an external effect on others: You will become IRRESISTIBLY MAGNETIC to those working professionals who are on your wavelength, along with many more who aspire to show up like you do.  

As she pairs that deep inner work with taking intentional steps forward, challenging her routines and habits to be in alignment with her goals, she is going to be playing in her ideal lane—manifesting a heart-centered community of professionals who are falling over themselves to work with her. 

While we aren’t done yet, she’s already a lot closer to realizing her potential. The next step is to find that powerful, achievable habit that’s going to put her in alignment with her goals. I’m looking forward to witnessing what unfolds.
