J.R. Johansson is the author of Young Adult and Adult Thrillers, with books published in over a dozen languages.
But up until a decade ago, J.R. never thought she could be an author. It was only when she started writing as a form of escape and therapy that she ended up with a complete first draft. Realizing that the process was fun and cathartic, she kept writing (and rewriting).
J.R. credits much of her success to finding a critique group online. With an array of unique strengths to draw upon, all six went on to land agents. The rest, as they say, is history.
To learn more about today’s guest, her writing process, and giving yourself permission to write a bad first draft, be sure to listen to today’s episode of The Fearless Storyteller podcast.
